SKEPTA – HYPOCRISY [VIDEO]

After the consistently brilliant visuals from last album ‘Konnichiwa’, you’d have been forgiven for thinking that the artwork for new single ‘Hypocrisy’ was a joke.  Having no shared the decidedly kitsch video, it now starts to make sense.  Directed by himself amd BBBK collaborator Matt Walker, the video features Skepta alongside some retro karaoke-singing dancers…

Not content with launching his own clothing line, Mains, Skepta releases ‘Hypocrisy’, a track aimed at those who disrespect him online but turn on the charm in person.  The beat doesn’t sound dissimilar to some of those on his Mercury Prize-winning album ‘Konnichiwa‘; perhaps it’s an off-cut from the project.  Stream below via SoundCloud.
