RAEKWON – WISHING ON A STAR

Raekwon has been teasing his upcoming album, F.I.L.A. [Fly International Luxurious Art] for a long time now, and things finally look promising  drops ‘Wishing On A Star’.  Sonically, The Chef combined with Rose Royce’ classic 1977 vocal is pretty much as good as it gets, but surely we can’t be the only ones wishing he’d step…

RAEKWON – THE LIVING ROOM

While Wu fans wait in anxious anticipation for their upcoming reunion album (‘A Better Tomorrow’, July 2014), Raekwon releases a loose track entitled ‘The Living Room’.  It’s unclear if it’ll live on any upcoming project, but it starts seriously smooth, picks up a bit more speed and then ends with a ‘Walk On By’ sample –…

INSPECTAH DECK – GET ON DECK

On this, the last day of 2013, Wu Tang Clan’s Inspectah Deck cuts loose a brand new track from his upcoming project ‘Cynthia’s Son’.  The track sounds like some classic Rebel INS, a dreary glitching beat with some heavy bars and a call-to-arms hook.  Stream the track below via SoundCloud, Happy Wu Year!

THE ALCHEMIST – THE CUTTING ROOM FLOOR 3

Everybody’s favourite producer The Alchemist released the third in his ‘The Cutting Room Floor’ series this Christmas.  Number three includes features from Nas, Raekwon, Mobb Deep, Rick Ross, Large Professor and more.  Big Al asked fans to tweet him with what they thought should be the first single, and ‘Pool Hall Hustler’ (a bonus track…
