South London duo 808INK release “some more thump for your trunk speaker” in the form of ‘DSSY’.  The track follows ‘Peach‘ as the second track to be released in quick succession following recent EP, ‘Billy’s Home‘.  Stream the latest from producer 808 Charmer and MC Mumblez Black ink Below via SoundCloud.

Shortly after releasing their full-length debut ‘Billy’s Home‘, 808INK drops ‘Peach’ – a loose single that’s very much in a similar vein.  It’s another undoubtedly gully cut from the South Londoners, as Mumblez Black Ink flows over a warped, meandering melody and creeping percussion.  Stream ‘Peach’ below, click here to download ‘Billy’s Home‘ on iTunes.

808INK – Q’D UP

‘Q’d Up’ is taken from 808INK’s ‘Billy’s Home‘ – “the gulliest album of 2015”.  As per the the track itself, the first section of the video is unsettling and assertive, kicking off with MC Mumblez Black Ink taking centre stage.  Things are switched up both sonically and visually midway through, as producer 808Charmer makes things…

808INK are MC Mumblez Black Ink and producer 808Charmer.  Between them, the pair of Londoners release their debut LP, ‘Billy’s Home’, a highly original ten track project which borders on the conceptual, centring around fictional protagonist ‘Billy‘.  808INK join the new wave of British artists like Kojey Radical and Blue Daisy whose music fits neither into the UK…

808INK drop new track ‘Billy’, produced by 808Charmer and featuring bars from Mumblez Black Ink.  The London creatives haven’t yet disclosed whether this is a one-off or part of a wider project, or who Billy is for that matter!  Stream below via SoundCloud.

Talented UK producer 808Charmer releases a surprise throwback track in the form of ‘Nostalgia’.  The track is a flip of Mase’ 1998 classic ‘What You Want‘, which more than does justice to the original.  Stream below via SoundCloud.
