The self-proclaimed ‘Queen of the South’ is back with another visual, ‘Dobale,’ on which Shaybo pays tribute to her Nigerian heritage whilst declaring herself at the forefront of a new wave of female British MCs.
Following her incendiary ‘Daily Duppy’ freestyle, Shaybo delivers bars in both English and Yoruba, celebrating female empowerment and Black Britishness as she goes. With October being Black History Month, and the anniversary of Nigeria’s 60th Independence Day, the timing of the release of ‘Dobale’ couldn’t be more apt.
