There’s always a risk when it comes to sequels; as Kojey Radical says himself, you’ve got to “raise the levels.” ‘Progression Freestyle 2′ does just that. Over a Drill beat, the East Londoner makes his case as a name people people need to know: “don’t compare ’cause they all mismatch / I come match fit, don’t miss practice.”
The dark visual experience, made even darker by Kojey’s psychotic smile., puts you on edge. There’s no doubt he’s a multi-talented artist, fluent in facts, but he’s wrong about one thing: “How can they call me gifted, if they never really felt my presence?” Kojey’s gift is undeniable; his presence overwhelming.
