CHE LINGO – DARK DAYS [Ft. KOJEY RADICAL]

Che Lingo delivers ‘Dark Days’, the third single from forthcoming album ‘The Worst Generation’. Building on his earlier releases, ‘Black Ones‘ featuring Ghetts and ‘Spaghetti’, the rapper showcases Black excellence and the art of storytelling. ‘Dark Days’ presents alluring visuals from the offset as golden, regal Joshua Kane tailored suits cloak Che Lingo and Kojey Radical amid shots of a coastal backdrop where cold waves crash against limestone cliffs. The track explores the complexity of relationships and the subsequent need to heal from past trauma. With appearances from the Love Island couple, Priscilla Anyabu and Mike Boateng, ‘Dark Days’ centres Black love without compromise.

Kojey’s unmistakeable baritone perfectly complements Che’s unstoppable flow. Sonically, ‘Dark Days’ is bursting at the seams; its therapeutic instrumentation thanks to refined violins, flutes and harps creates a sense of real luxury, offering a tribute to the women who have shaped their lives. Stream below via YouTube, and watch for the album, coming October 23 on Idris Elba’s 7Wallace label.
