After recent freestyles such as ‘Thotbox’ and ‘Yikes,’ Ms Banks drops a new single entitled ‘Novikov.’ In the new video, Banks is a woman who wants for nothing, its imagery screaming power and wealth as Banks is draped in jewels in a subversion of the patriarchal norms she’s deconstructing. It’s Luxury Rap; even down to the receipt that makes up the artwork tells us she’s at a point in her career where she’s able to enjoy the finer things in life [even if they’re almost £200 a bottle].
