Following recent single ‘BEAMLIGHT‘, Jay Prince releases new EP ‘Wonder’. The seven track collection opens with the meandering ‘RUN IT DOWN’, followed by aforementioned single and low key banger ‘BEAMLIGHT’. After that, we’re sorry to say things get a little homogenous. Prince’ previous releases ‘Cherish‘ and ‘Late Summers‘ were truly exceptional; packed with blissful moments of real innovation, but on ‘Wonder’, very little stands out save for the Trap stylings of EP closer ‘BLESSED NOW.’ “6 projects deep, I only want to give my all doing this,” says Prince of the EP, which sadly just doesn’t seem like the case.
