Knox Brown is a producer and vocalist from Kingston via Birmingham, whose singles since signing with Virgin EMI have demonstrated an immaculate and inventive approach to production, coupled with some stand-out vocal performances. ‘Goosebumps’ is the third in a series of tracks that he’s releasing every fortnight, and is a track about “the feeling [he] got when [he] was granted citizenship.” “Although it took so long [15 years],” he says, “it was one of the best moments in my life! No more stressing about immigration or anxiety when I see letters from HMRC. My citizenship came with a medal… without the ribbon bit but medal sounds better than coin on a record.”
