Jesse James Solomon dropped a surprise 6-track record over the weekend entitled ‘Strata’. The South East Londoner’s laconic style has slowly garnered him something of a cult UK following. It’s a dreamlike, mesmerising project named after the Strata building, a distinctive high rise tower block that looms over his neighbourhood and is depicted on the artwork – an image itself painted by Solomon.
