London-based producer Haich releases new track ‘Peak’, described as “a sonic journey reflecting the emotional ups & downs in an individual’s mind whilst being a long distance from someone or something they’re emotionally attached too.” Written by Haich on a trip to LA, the track builds and builds before dropping off; ditching the majority of the melodies in favour of pure rhythm. It’s a heady clash of styles, at times reminiscent of Foals, others Hot Chip, but all using Haich’s distinctive filter.
