Mont Jake’s been on something of a hiatus since his last release ‘Daydreaming‘. The intriguing Danish producer pushes his smooth, soulful sound a step further working with Gene Fisher & BadBadNotGood’s Leland Whitty. A little more upbeat than his previous work, ‘Come Closer’ hinges on an infectious, shuffled groove – over which his impossibly precise falsetto sounds as faultless as ever.
