Croydon songwriter Jamie Isaac returns with his first track since last year’s ‘Couch Baby‘, in ‘Doing Better’. This year promises an as-yet unnamed second album from the Marathon Artists signee, the first taste of which sees a delightfully delicate piano melody wrap itself around a satisfyingly substantial rhythm section. Isaac’s vocal is on-point as ever, lyrically reassuring himself of uneasy progress: “Yes, I’m doing better with my sleeping / I need less time for weeping.” Stream the video, directed by Xavier Damase [of J Hus’ ‘Did You See’ fame], below via YouTube.
