British producer Haich releases his debut EP ‘Unbalanced’; a project that’s been two years in the making. “Spent the last two years trying to create a perfectly balanced debut EP,” he says. “It didn’t work.” We’re inclined to disagree – delicate vocals and poised synth sounds sit, perfectly balanced, alongside deeply satisfying bass wobbles and Garage drops while spoken word vocal samples add extra layers of texture and colour. Beautifully breezy, ‘Unbalanced’ is a far cry from the Hip Hop-inspired production sound we mined for our very own ‘Province EP‘ just over two years ago, indicative of real progress.
