San Francisco producer Nobl is perhaps best known for his production as part of F.A.M.E (Fresh Analog Music Experience) with Teeko and MaxKane, but already with one solo album under his belt he continues the flow of new solo material with ‘Lacuna’. Beginning with sultry horns courtesy of Adam Theis of Jazz Mafia and mellow keys, the track’s subtly beautiful intro belies what happens when it fades away. Punchy synths sit beneath warm horns, punctuated an infectious looped vocal chop. Think Tom Misch meets Soulection meets Brasstracks.
