Province is coming to you live & direct for the first time in history. As such, your attendance is absolutely fucking mandatory. We’ve been bringing you exceptional music from amazing artists for over four years now, and it’s high time we did that in a live setting; specifically the sweaty basement that is VFD, Dalston.
DJs on the night include Lean Low, the Bad Taste Records boss will be spinning tracks from his upcoming collaborative mixtape ‘Pay It No Mind’ [Oct 13] for the first time as part of a special Memphis Rap-inspired set; think Three-6 Mafia, Gangsta Pat, DJ Paul and Lil Noid.
We’ll also have Manchester-born, London-based producer MODEL 86 dropping genre-defying beats as part of an eclectic set taking influences from modern Electronica, 90s Hip Hop, film scores, unusual samples and sound design in a style that calls to mind the likes of Flying Lotus & Boards of Canada. West London label Panel are also sending their Reprezent / Balamii regular Milo & Innes to go B2B.
We’re especially proud to play host British producer JMZ, with whom we’ve released two tracks from his debut release on Province, ‘Let Me Be Great’. He’ll be channeling the likes of Sango, Kaytranada and Just Blaze as part of a set that’s indicative of the Electronic Trap sound he’s made his own. Kicking things off will be producer & resident DJ at Idiot Savant LDN, Lazy H; expect eclectic beats & Chinese Instrumental Hip Hop.
See you there – hit attending here to be in with a chance of winning free guestlist and a Province tee. |
