‘Ample’ is a new compilation from London label Panel which brings together the talents of nine individual artists including. “There is no predominant sound, style, genre or mood to this album. More than anything, we think each of these artists are distinctive – they’re carving out their own niche sounds that are unmistakably ‘them’. And for us, that is what is most exciting about this project,” say Panel. While that’s definitely true, don’t be fooled into thinking this is a disparate collection; there’s a cohesion behind the whole aesthetic that is deeply satisfying.
