South East London duo BLESSED release ‘My Yute’, an infectious, R&B-inflected mash-up of Dancehall & Bassline with a Victor Kovachev-directed debut visual. “‘My Yute’ is all about the hype you have when having your friend’s back. It’s all about putting your batch on a pedestal and letting everyone know that,” say sisters Lauren and Georgia Morgan. “As much as ‘My Yute’ has a serious tone to it, when thinking of the concept for the video we wanted to highlight the fun, tongue in cheek aspect of the song.
