Having just announced a solo deal with XL Recordings [the label to which his original NYC trio Ratking was previously signed] Wiki drops new single ‘Pretty Bull’. The Tony Seltzer-produced track is a step away from the gritty Sporting Life beats that first familiarised us with Wik; with dreamy synths accompanying his tightly wound flow. ‘Pretty Bull’ also comes with a Ben Solomon-directed video, which sees Wiki and co throwing a party at local deli. “Back in the day, a club ‘The Tunnel’ in Midtown would host different nights for different scenes, they would have crazy techno nights, gay nights, and rap nights all back to back,” says Wiki. “The track’s for today’s scene and generation where we’re all out together having a good time.” Stream below via YouTube, click here to download via iTunes.
