Lapalux, aka Essex-based bedroom producer Stuart Howard, releases his third studio album on Brainfeeder in ‘Ruinism’. The album takes Lapalux’ abstract electronic music to new levels of amorphous, discordant beauty. While previous LP ‘Lustmore‘ was inspired by a phenomenon known as hypnagogia [a suspension of consciousness occurring between wakefulness and sleep], Lapalux says that ‘Ruinism’ pushes the journey forward into the more ominous limbo that exists between life and death.
