Having already shared the title track, Bearcubs releases the ‘Underwaterfall’ EP in full. His debut release on All Points is beautifully and densely textured, but exercises restraint in all the right places. The immersive, electronic project of twenty five year old Jack Ritchie, Bearcubs’ music touches on the emotive post-Dubstep of James Blake and Mount Kimbie, but with the all-round with a melodic pleasantness reminiscent of Maribou State.
