Brainfeeder producer Thundercat celebrated this year’s Valentine’s Day with a new track from upcoming album ‘Drunk’ [February 24]. ‘Friend Zone’ is as witty as it is funky, bemoaning the all-too-familiar liminal space between love and friendship. The 23-track album promises an “epic journey into the often hilarious, sometimes dark mind of the Grammy-winning singer/bassist”, and is set to feature contributions from the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Pharrell, Michael McDonald, Kenny Loggins, Wiz Khalifa, Kamasi Washington and Brainfeeder mastermind Flying Lotus.
