This time around he enlists the help of Marscha Ambrosius to add a touch more Soul, as well as “a certain balance and flavour to the song that only a woman could provide”. “A lot of people make songs about relationships,” he went on, “and it’s really one-sided. You don’t always get to have another creative with a fundamentally different outlook and approach add to it in a genuine way.
