Lundun’s gulliest duo, 808INK, release a follow-up to last year’s ‘Billy’s Home‘ in the form of new LP ‘Hungry’. This time around, the duo sound quietly self-assured; 808Charmer’s beats are more refined, and MC Mumblez Black Ink’s rhymes are less obvious, but by no means less entertaining. If it wasn’t before, ‘Hungry’ makes it very plain that 808INK are here to exploit a real niche that exists in the UK scene between Hip Hop and Grime.
