Lido’s debut LP is finally upon us! He’s been putting out the most incredible work for so long [be it his solo material, his work with Brasstracks, or remixing everyone from Kanye West to Alt-J in his own inimitable style] that it’s hard to think of this as his first ever solo full-length. ‘Everything’ sets itself apart from Lido’s prior material; it’s more sincere, and features far more unadulterated vocal than we’re used to. Gone is the Norwegian beatmaker’s trademark four note motif, and gone too is a lot of the fun that made him quite so exciting.
