Vince Staples new EP ‘Prima Donna‘ begins with a gunshot, which begins the story of a gangbanger turned rapper told in reverse. The new short film to accompany the project is told chronologically, which you’d think might help clear up the narrative. Quite the contrary, in the surreal ten minute film [directed by Nabil] Vince leaves a film set and embarks on a strange journey, on which a bizarre taxi journey takes him to quite possible the strangest hotel you’ll ever come across.
