The sharp, stabbing synths and gut-thumping bass of Sam Gellaitry’s ‘Escapism‘ EP provide something of a sonic affront. His characteristically synthetic sound is still front and centre, but ‘Escapism II’ deftly weaves in live instrumentation in the form of guitars, piano and even sitar to broaden the landscape.
