Following the recently-released ‘Find The Words‘, Jamie Isaac drops another track from ‘Couch Baby’ [July 8], the South East Londoner’s upcoming album on Marathon Artists. The South East London singer-songwriter has the kind of delicate clarity in his delivery that begs comparison to Hot Chip’s Alexis Taylor, but his production bears the understatedly emotive atmosphere of King Krule. “‘Pigeon’ is the last track I wrote for the album,” Isaac explains to The FADER. “It’s about meeting a girl that helped drag me from falling into a deep depression, and my love that followed.” Stream below via SoundCloud, click here to pre-order ‘Couch Baby’ on iTunes.
