As part of a new series, we’re going to be bringing you playlists curated by people we think are fucking awesome. To kick things off, we bring you fifteen tracks curated by 8BitHipHop; a graphic design brand who create 8-bit versions of Hip Hop artists and elements of Hip Hop culture. Having started on Instagram, the artwork is inspired by and based upon a range of both classic and modern artists; from Biggie to Chance, J Dilla to Sam Gellaitry. Fittingly, their specially-curated playlist reflects just that.
“This playlist was hand-picked by the 8BitHipHop team as a blend of upbeat vibes we like working or hanging out to,” say the guys. “Since our brand is based around a wide range of sounds, we wanted our playlist to reflect that by only having one song from each different artists across the 15 tracks. We hope some of these tracks will be new to you, while others will already be familiar. All in all, this hour-long playlist should have you rocking with some of the best sounds coming out of Hip Hop today.”
