Nevermen are TV On The Radio’s Tunde Adebimpe, Anticon/cLOUDDEAD’s Adam ‘Doseone’ Drucker and Mike Patton of Faith No More. Their self-titled debut as a trio is an ambitious one: it’s fearless and challenging at every turn. At times though, it feels as if they’ve bitten off more than they can chew, the melange of genres at times just feels a little too ‘Prog’. That said, moments like ‘Wrong Animal Right’ are truly brilliant; think Aesop Rock meets Alabama 3. Stream below via Spotify.
