The title of Azekel’s acclaimed ‘Raw, Vol.1’ EP hinted that there’d be a follow-up from the East London native.  Sure enough, new track ‘The War Inside’ is our first glimpse of last summer’s follow-up project ‘Raw, Vol. 2’.  The new EP will see Azekel widen his focus; switching from first-hand accounts of personal relationships to the effects of our broader environment.  “There’s a war inside that no child is safe from / The people started a new religion and claimed that we found God” come the opening lines over darting synths; Azekel has lost none of his mesmerising vocal touch.  Stream below via SoundCloud.
