Kojey Radical gave himself a lot to live up to with ‘Bambu’; the track’s raw immediacy matched only by the astonishing visuals that accompanied it. With new track ‘Open Hand’ however, he may even have surpassed himself. The new track is as gutteral as we’ve ever heard the young Londoner, his bars occupying an enthralling space that exists between their evidently careful construction and his wild, unrestrained delivery. The video [directed by The Rest] premiered last Friday as part of a collaboration between Tate Britain and Push Crayons, and sees a shackled Radical writhe in a white room as he spits.
