New Orleans’ Pell is set to release his second LP ‘Limbo’ on Federal Prism [a label run by Dave Sitek of TV On The Radio] later this year. The project will be Pell’s first since his superb ‘Floating While Dreaming’, and judging by first track ‘Cafe Du Monde’ he’s developing a whole new sound.  While his harder, more unforgiving new sound is certainly an impressive one, we can’t help but feel he may have taken a little too much influence from Sitek, as the track wouldn’t sound out of place on a TVOTR album.  Stream below via SoundCloud.
