The concept for ELWD’s new visual ‘Tropic TV’ was borne out of his recently-released beat tape, ‘Tropic‘: “Tropic TV was an idea I had whilst I was creating the album, I wanted to create a TV channel like the old travel holiday infomercials you used to see back in the day, using a mash up of old footage with new animations, creating something unique in the process”. The strange VHS version of Hawaii created in the video seems to be the perfect setting for ELWD’s beats, which are as dusty and lo-fi as they are fresh and tropical. Stream below via YouTube.
