Noisey have teamed up with Pepsi Max to bring us a series of three mixtapes, each created from scratch by an individual British artist in just forty eight hours.  Following Episode one with JME, this time around it’s the turn of Murkage Dave.  The leader of Manchester’s Murkage Cartel calls upon a host of homegrown talent in order to fulfill the brief; “I’m trying to involve the whole of Manchester, I’m trying to rep every clique.”  With a little help from the likes of Mark Vernon, Hey Gamal, Acropolis Sound, T-Man and LEVELZ, Murkage Dave records a full mixtape within the time limit before rounding things off in typical Murkage style with a celebratory house party.  The project is part of Pepsi Max’ summer festival tour, during which they’ll be hosting a stage at London’s Wireless, Manchester’s Creamfields and Oslo’s Oya.  Check out the Mike Skinner-directed video below, and click here to stream/download the finished mixtape.
