Wiley has gifted his newest track, ‘Chasing The Art’, with a graffiti-themed visual accompaniment.  The video sees Wiley visit some of London’s top street art spots to reflect the songs message; that Wiley has done more than enough to prove himself and is now more than comfortable pursuing his craft as a purely artistic endeavour.  At the risk of appearing petty we would, at this point, like to voice a concern.  It’s seemingly impossible to read any other blog or music magazine’s coverage of a 2015 Grime track without hearing about its recent recognition from US artists.  While we couldn’t be more pleased for Grime artists that the genre has crossed the pond and reached a wider audience, we can’t help but feel that to discuss Grime only in this context takes away from all that has gone before.  Rant over.  Stream Wiley’s ‘Chasing The Art’ [his first single on new home Island Records] below via YouTube.
