LA’s queen of understated cool, Banks, has enough black and white trendiness to have been tipped by just about everyone as the next big thing, to the extent that she’s actually pretty huge – she’s pretty much nower than now right now. What has got us excited though, is this collaboration with Electronic Hip Hop producer Shlohmo. The brooding beats, laced with lo-fi synths and echoed vocals, sit so perfectly under Banks’ amazing voice. Stream the track above via SoundCloud.
