Rick Ross’ forthcoming album ‘Mastermind’ has been a long time coming, and the latest cog in the promo machine is single ‘The Devil Is A Lie’, featuring Jay Z. The track is produced by KE On The Track, who has done a superb job, purely by making a beat as grandiose as the combination of the two rappers. Whether or not it’s intentional, the beat has the kind of horn refrain you might find on a Jay Z album and the kind of trap beat that is essential to Ross’ sound. Rozay’s contribution is entertaining, but it must be said that Jay’s is the highlight. Stream the track below via SoundCloud.
