MAC MILLER – DELUSIONAL THOMAS

Mac Miller introduced us to yet another alter-ego this Halloween with his ‘Delusional Thomas’ mixtape.  The eery beats and pitched-up vocals make this a slightly creepy listen, and some of Mac’s lyrics are fantastically grotesque (seeing as Eminem has failed with MMLP2, this may be the closest to Em circa 2000 we’ve had since!).  The beats, produced by Mac himself (as Larry Fisherman) are sublime.  At first, Mac’s pitched-up vocal is irritating, but after becoming acclimatized after the first few songs, it kind of makes sense.  Features include Earl Sweatshirt and Da$h, stream the whole thing below via SoundCloud.
